This weekend’s song to end the weekend on is ‘The Dean and I’ played and sung by 10cc on this YouTube clip.
Although the band use words and a style that would have you thinking they are of the US, actually the four members (Kevin Godley, Lawerence ‘Lol’ Creme, Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman) are all Mancunians and the band itself was formed back in the early seventies in Stockport, about forty minutes bus ride from where I come from.
